Right of Withdrawal

This page explains your statutory right of withdrawal as it applies to digital product purchases at Hermanoslicense.com. These rights apply to consumers in the European Union and other jurisdictions with equivalent consumer protection laws. Rights under mandatory applicable law always take precedence over anything stated in our commercial terms.

1. Your Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer (a natural person acting outside of a trade, business, or profession), you have the right to withdraw from a purchase contract within 14 days from the date of the order, without giving any reason.

2. The Digital Content Exception

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive) and equivalent national laws, the right of withdrawal expires before the 14-day period ends when both of the following conditions are met:

  1. The performance (delivery) of the digital content has begun, and
  2. You have given your prior explicit consent that performance begins before the end of the withdrawal period, and you have acknowledged that you will lose your right of withdrawal once delivery begins.

At checkout, you are asked to confirm these two conditions with a dedicated checkbox. If you do not tick the waiver checkbox, your order will not be processed, because digital delivery cannot begin without your consent to immediate performance.

3. How the Waiver Works in Practice

  • You tick the checkbox at checkout confirming that you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once delivery begins.
  • Payment is confirmed and delivery begins.
  • From the moment delivery begins, the right of withdrawal no longer applies to that order.

If you did not tick the checkbox and delivery has not yet started, you may exercise your right of withdrawal by contacting support (see below) before delivery begins.

4. Exercising Your Right of Withdrawal

If delivery has not yet begun and you wish to withdraw:

If withdrawal is valid, you will receive a full refund within 14 days using the same payment method as the original transaction, unless you expressly agree to a different arrangement.

5. Refunds After Valid Withdrawal

For valid withdrawal requests (before digital delivery begins), refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, to the same payment method used for the purchase. See also our Refund Policy.
